Hunan Kangrui Coatings' "Architectural Reflective Thermal Insulation and Heat-Proof Coating" project has advanced to the finals of the 7th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in the New Materials Industry.

On November 22-23, the finals of the 7th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in the New Materials Industry kicked off in Ningbo. Hunan Kangrui Coatings' "Building Reflective Thermal Insulation and Heat-Proof Coating" project advanced to the national finals after securing second place in its provincial competition group.

In this final round, more than 180 participating companies from across the country were divided into six Growth Enterprise Groups and two Startup Enterprise Groups for the competition. The event followed an "8+7" format: contestants delivered their presentations for 8 minutes, followed by 7 minutes of questions from the lead judge, with each group being evaluated by a panel of five judges.

The grand final of this new materials industry was jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology's Torch Center, the Ministry of Science and Technology's Innovation Fund Management Center, the Science and Technology Daily, the Shaanxi Provincial Modern Science and Technology Innovation Fund Management Center, and the Beijing National Science & Technology SME Innovation Development Foundation. It was locally hosted by the Ningbo Municipal People's Government and co-organized by the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology. Additionally, the China Merchants Bank Innovation & Entrepreneurship Public Welfare Fund and Shanghai Sansheng Hongye Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. provided special support.
